Held at the historic Ilam Homestead, and with over 30 beers and ciders from craft breweries all over the South Island, the South Island Beer Festival is always a great day out. So much so, it was voted Best Canterbury Beer Event by the members of the Society of Beer Advocates (SOBA) in both 2015 and 2016.

The next festival will be held on Saturday the 17th of February 2018 from 12 midday till 6pm. Write it in your diaries and start rounding up your mates.

Tickets are door sales only. The price is $40 which gets you entry, a festival glass to keep, and a tasting ticket good for 5 beers (each sample is a half-pint). Further tasting tickets (also 5 beers) will set you back $25 – you'll also be able to buy partial tickets at $5 per beer. We do have EFTPOS available but cash is typically quicker for everybody. We also recommend you bring cash for the food vendors - they won't necessarily have EFTPOS available, and we can't guarantee being able to provide a cash-out service.

If you want to put a copy of the poster up on your office noticeboard or next to the watercooler, you can download a PDF version in your choice of size: either A4 or A3.
